Brain Fiesta

Meditation was supposed to be a simple relaxation technique. My routine began with sitting at my table in the dark. I would light a candle, and place it in front of me. For the next few hours I would stare into the flame, concentrating on my breathing... Waiting for thoughts and shapes to come to me. These shapes would become my friends... my only friends.

A vision in a cloud of smoke appears in the forefront of my psyche. I turn the key to a door that shouldn't be opened, I walk through. I see people talking about magic and shit. They seem to have a lot to say.

...but the door did open? I swear I was there, I danced in the brain fiesta.

Can you go too deep inside your own mind?

Can you gain perspective on things that may not exist?

Can you believe in yourself, even if you don't know who you are?

All of this will be addressed in my new seminars. Classes begin January 25th at 8pm at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Shelter on Duncan Street.

Admission is $60
Free donuts and coffee
(Pet Friendly)
