Common Myths Concerning the Life & Times of John Wayne

1. Wayne enjoyed the television show, Spungebob Squarepants*

2. He was an avid believer of the 'Reap what you Sow' philosophy.

3. His father read Shakespeare's, "The Merchant of Venice" to him cover to cover every morning.

4. Wayne was a member of the Ancient Brotherhood of Dragons. (the ABD believes that dragons do exist, and they are slowly trying to enter the ranks of working class America by means of switching human sperm for dragon sperm - only in cases where women are looking for artificial insemination via sperm banks)

5. His favorite breakfast cereal was Wheaties. (This is false. His favorite cereal was trix. Wayne was captivated by the "Silly Rabbit, Trix are for Kids" Ad campaign. Wayne would often make this fact known in interviews and public speeches)

6. He strongly believed gastric bypass surgery procedures cost the same no matter who performed them, or where they were performed.

*This myth was proven false when it was revealed that Wayne had died before the concept of Spongebob was ever invented. Had the show aired during Wayne's lifetime, he most likely would have loved the show for it's progressive humor and captivating animation.
